INTRODUCTION
Ben is a Chartered Architect with over ten years of practice experience primarily in the South West but extending to jobs around the world.
Ben joined Kay Elliott in 2014 after seven years at his previous practice where he had forged a role as their housing and student accommodation specialist, delivering large-scale projects up £19 million in value.
SKILLS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Ben’s experience extends across a wide range of sectors including leisure, performing arts, care homes, student housing, residential, commercial, and urban planning projects. In addition, he has extensive experience within the education sector, having helped to deliver a range of projects including a new 400 pupil primary school and a Library and Information Centre during which time he developed his proficiency in sustainable environmental control strategies.
Since joining Kay Elliott Ben has continued to employ his expertise in housing, urban design and refurbishment projects whilst also working on high-profile visitor attractions in locations such as London, Dubai, Beijing and Berlin.
He has been instrumental in developing the architectural design of the new attraction product ‘Little Big City’ which opened in Berlin in 2017. He has also delivered a new ranger’s hub for the National Trust on the North Devon coast.
